Herbert Hilhorst (HCL)

Herbert is a polyglot OpenGroup Distinguished IT Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently an HCL EMEA Digital Solutions Technical Advisor managing and driving technical sales activities directly on large accounts opportunities and through support on a team of local technical sales and Business Partners, including presentations, demos, Proof of Concepts and RFP/RFI answering. As part of HCL Digital Solutions, focusing on HCL Digital Experience (DX), which includes HCL Portal, HCL Web Content Manager, HCL Leap (ex-Forms Experience Builder), HCL Connections, HCL Domino, HCL Sametime, and their integration with the rest of HCL’s software portfolio and 3rd party software.

He built and leads a team to promote sharing, enable and create enablement materials, like the New Way to Learn for DX. He also built and run a very successful DX upgrade/modernization program. He is passionate in combining his years of experience in support and consulting when solving Critical Situations. In addition, he drives customers to successfully deploy their HCL software-based solutions. He is author of many internal and public contributions, and speaker at many conferences.
