Thank you for joining Let’sConnect Connect Virtual May 2021

News 2021, connections, hcl, letsconnect, may, virtual by Maria Nordin

Hello!

We are so happy to have held yet another virtual conference in this year of 2021. As much as we wish we could see you all in person we are over the moon of the response we have from the Connections Community. We were a full house again!

This time we had two very interesting topics alongside our popular “Connections News” collected and given by the Let’sConnect team:

WannesRams

HCL Connections News by Wannes Rams from the Let’sConnect team

Upcoming Webinar on Driving Digital Transformation

HCL Connections & Microsoft 365 webinar recording

DS Academy – Upgrading from Connections 6.5 to 7

HCL Connections Roadmap by Adam Gartenberg, Director, Product Management, HCL

With the most recent release of HCL Connections out the door, we are working hard on the next release. In this session we will share a preview of how the next Connections release creates a new experience that will let users enjoy fluid collaboration within Connections and beyond.

Fine-tune HCL Connections to your needs by Jan Valdman, Whitesoft

Once you finish installation of HCL Connections, there are dozens of features you can enable or disable in so called post-installation steps. In this session we will walk through most of the features and advice how to make Connections users engaged and happy.

After the sessions we had a really interesting Q&A session with lots of good questions and answers on the coming versions of Connections and HCL’s plan ahead.

Now we immediately start planning our next conference which will take place on June 29, 2021!

If you are interested to participate in any way (for example speaking in a session), please email us at team@letsconnect.world. Any topic is interesting, and particularly of course upgrading experiences.

Until we meet again,

So long!

The Let’sConnect Team

LetsConnect 28-29 September – Bienvenido a Madrid!

News cnx, conference, connections, digital, digital experience, dx, experience, hcl, letsconnect, madrid, soccnx, solutions by Wannes Rams

Join us to hear about the future of HCL Connections and HCL Digital Experience

Connections has found a new home at HCL. Alongside the transition, the Product Management team has worked hard to release a new version of Connections (Connections 6.5) with new features and has announced a bigger release, version 7.

Digital Experience has followed the same pattern with the 9.5 release in 2019 and a big new release in 2020 with version 10.

The LetsConnect team (formerly Social Connections) has followed the journey with interest and we are very happy we now can reveal the city and venue for our next conference, all about Connections and Digital Experience!

We know many Connections customers have been waiting patiently to hear from HCL on how Connections will evolve and continue to be the go-to place to find the company’s collective knowledge and skills.

The team has been working hard to find a place where we can gather all of you, customers, business partners, product management, researchers and the developers for our next LetsConnect conference. HCL will have a natural place in the spotlight as they will share news, plans and facts about Connections and Digital Experience.

So without further ado we would like to say:

Welcome to Madrid and Truss Madrid in WiZink Center!

We believe that Madrid will be the perfect meeting place for the Community! Mark your calendar 28-29 September 2020.
Stay tuned for opening of registration, call for abstract and sponsorship opportunities.

Session highlight: Enterprise Social Network – why it is important for you! By Lee Bryant

News connections, enterprise, esn, hcl, highlight, lee bryant, network, session, social by Maria Nordin

This session we will present now we are very excited about. It’s all about your workplace, right? And how you as an employee are an important piece of a large cake being your organisation, and what can be done to continuously improve the employee experience.

Learn from Lee Bryant, Postshift, how a mature Enterprise Social Network (ESN) can be a powerful force for organisation change and improvement, and not just a better platform for communication and workplace coordination.

Using the ESN as a connected platform for continuous improvement of the organisation and its processes and practices is a very practical use case that can help engage people who do not yet see the value in sharing their work in the open, and can help foster a culture of emergent leadership, where everybody is encouraged to fix problems getting in the way of new and better ways of working. This talk will share some ideas about how to do this, and how to engage leaders to win their support.

  • Why so little focus on employee experience?
  • An agile approach to the continuous improvement of employee experience
  • Capability and service mapping using your ESN
  • Identifying and fixing broken processes
  • Identifying potential for automation
  • The role of leaders – how to get them on board

Join us in Munich for this and more about ESN, Connections and Working out Loud.

Announcing location of Social Connections 15 – we are going south

News 15, conference, connections, germany, hcl, ibm, munchen, munich by Maria Nordin

After a period of long thoughts, pondering, discussions, interviews we have decided the next location for our fantastic collaboration and networking conference known as Social Connections.

For the first time ever we stay in the same country as our previous conference, Germany. The reason for that is simply that the community asked us. And who are we to say no. At least for this time only. 😉

So buckle up, we are going south to the beautiful Bavaria and the city of Munich! The home of Lederhosen, Dirndl, Beer and Cars. All with a fantastic mountain backdrop.

We welcome you all to submit your session abstract and register for the conference as soon as we open our systems which should be during the next coming days.

See you in Munich, 16-17 September 2019 for Social Connections 15!

Sponsor highlight: HCL

News hcl, highlight, sponsor by Jan Valdman

Though HCL has been a strategic partner of IBM  for several years it might be a kind of a company you have never heard of. So let us change it.

HCL is a global corporation with more than 100.000 employees doing business in 32 countries. Regrading IBM business, HCL does development of multiple IBM software products for several years. Once the new strategic partnership in IBM Notes/Domino has been announced, their name resonates a lot within the IBM Collaboration Solutions community.

You can read more about IBM – HCL partnership here.

We are glad that HCL decided to sponsor also Social Connections and to show us what they cook in their labs. Since they took over development of Notes/Domino, we can witness many things to move faster. Good luck HCL and show us some cool Connections integration soon!
